Spain's King Felipe calls national election for June 26

Spain's King Felipe on Tuesday dissolved parliament and formally called a parliamentary election for June 26.

"Let's hope we've all learned our lesson and that the next parliament reaches a (government) agreement as soon as possible," parliamentary speaker Patxi Lopez told a news conference, confirming the king had signed a decree calling the election.
