If Trump becomes president I’ll move to London: Will.i.am

Pop superstar Will.i.am has told CNBC that he will move to London if presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump becomes president.

Speaking at a concert Wednesday evening to mark the launch of his new wearable called Dial, the former Black Eyed Peas front man said he is sure Americans would not let Trump win.

"I think I'll probably be OK, because I'll move to London," Will.i.am told CNBC in an exclusive interview.

"Yeah, I think a lot of people will. But you know I have faith in the American public that you know we will do the right thing."

Will.i.am has previously told CNBC that he will be voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton if she gets the party's nomination.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday showed it could be a close fight for the White House with Trump now running about even with Clinton.
