Can shared musical tastes help you find the right date? Two start-ups — music service Spotify and dating app Bumble — are partnering with each other to find out.

In the next few weeks, Bumble users will be able to connect their Spotify account to their Bumble profile and learn about artists that potential matches listen to. The integration lets Bumble users see the music preferences of their potential match.

"We're hooking up with our perfect match, Bumble, the app changing the rules of the game by putting women in charge, to help people make more meaningful connections with music taste in mind," a Spotify representative said in a statement.

The companies are marking the partnership by providing a playlist of top songs found on Spotify dating playlists.
