Billionaire investor George Soros warned in The Guardian on Monday that a Brexit may lead to a market crash and hurt the finances of all the British people. We searched for stocks that could weather the storm.
Using Kensho, a quantitative tool used by hedge funds, we screened for the historically top-performing names the day after recent news events (polls, speeches, election results, etc.) leaned toward a Brexit. We then did the same search for performers after news events which hinted at a remain win.
