A technical issue that prevented Amazon Prime members from adding certain deals to their digital carts on Tuesday has been resolved.
Just hours into the online retailer's second Prime Day sales event, which promises deals on hundreds of thousands of items throughout the day, multiple users reported issues while trying to check out.
The problem appeared to be fixed by late morning, which Amazon spokeswoman Ana Rigby confirmed to CNBC.
Although Amazon shoppers had some trouble adding items to their cart, data from Catchpoint Systems found that the site continued to load quickly, despite the influx of traffic.
