With the earnings season starting to pick up, the "Fast Money" traders chose sectors that they thought might be good opportunities.

Trader Tim Seymour said that "earnings aren't going to be great." That being said, Seymour said that there may be relative opportunity in specific sectors. He said that he likes the materials sector.

Trader Karen Finerman said that "the expectations are so low in industrials." She also said that the airlines might be an interesting opportunity.

Trader Brian Kelly said that he's watching the metals and mining sectors. He said that the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF still has room to run.
