American Airlines flight 1822 reported fluid was leaking from the aircraft at the Palm Beach International Airport, according to WPBF 25 News, which reported the incident Thursday afternoon.
Officials said 17 people are being treated for minor injuries, including burning eyes and itchy skin, according the WPBF report.
The report noted emergency chutes deployed prior to flight taking off. No injuries were reported to the FAA.
