Etay Maor is an executive security advisor at IBM Security, where he leads security and fraud-fighting awareness and research. A security evangelist, Maor regularly presents at industry events and academic master classes as well as volunteers for educational security awareness programs.

Previously, Maor was the head of RSA's Cyber Threats Research Labs, where he managed malware research and intelligence teams and was part of cutting-edge security research.

Maor holds a BA in computer science and an MA in counterterrorism and cyberterrorism. He was a teaching assistant for an Introduction to Cybersecurity course at Shenkar College in Israel and has contributed to the International Institute for Counterterrorism on cybersecurity and cyberterrorism topics.

Maor moved to Boston from Israel in 2015.
