Better days are ahead for PC's and Intel, according to Evercore ISI. The firm upgrading the technology stock to buy with a $45 price target.

During trade on Tuesday, shares of Intel hit at fresh 52-week high.

The "Halftime Report" experts discussed the Intel trade.

Expect Intel to go higher here, says Josh Brown. "They are in every segment of semiconductors that you want to be in," he added. "I think Intel is as good as you get."

Intel looks vulnerable at these levels, argued Stephanie Link. "If you're buying the stock here, you have to believe the data center can actually accelerate and that's a big question mark," she said.

Link recently sold her position in Intel but said she would consider buying back in at lower levels.
