Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell on Monday:

Conatus Pharmaceuticals jumped 9 percent after the bell. The company announced its acceptance of four abstracts for Emricasan to be presented at The Liver Meeting, the annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Emricasan is the company's pan-caspase inhibitor for patients with liver cirrhosis. The conference takes place in Boston this November.

Qualcomm clawed back some of its losses from earlier Monday. The technology company was up a quarter of a percent in after-hours trade after finishing the day down 2 percent. UBS released a report Monday exploring the possibility of Qualcomm acquiring NXP Semiconductors. Although the firm is unsure if the deal will happen, its upside valuation assumes a deal is struck, resulting in better revenue diversity.

Shares of Team Health Holdings increased 2.5 percent after the bell. The jump follows news that it acquired Florida Emergency Physicians. FEP is a staffing provider for 11 facilities spanning five counties in the Orlando area.
