Trump: That was locker room talk

Donald Trump said that his widely criticized comments about women were just "things that people say," while accusing former President Bill Clinton of misdeeds.

"If you look at Bill Clinton, far worse. Mine were words and his was action. What he's done to women, there's never been anybody in the history of politics in this nation that's been so abusive to women," Trump said.

The audience applauded when Trump finished his remarks by saying the Democratic nominee "should be ashamed of herself."

Hillary Clinton responded by quoting first lady Michelle Obama's words, "when they go low, we go high," prompting a round of cheers. She criticized his history of not taking responsibility for his actions, such as not apologizing for mocking a reporter with a disability.
