China banking regulator names Guo Shuqing as new chairman

China's banking regulator named Guo Shuqing as the new chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) on Wednesday.

Guo will hold a press conference on March 2, the country's cabinet information office said earlier in the day.
