The Program Research intern will dive into the world of television ratings and audience analysis for CNBC. Using Nielsen's television ratings, our intern will be responsible for reporting CNBC's audience metrics to multiple departments within the company, including Programming/Scheduling, Marketing, Public Relations, and Finance. Intern responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, interpreting Nielsen data for recurring reports, maintaining CNBC program lineups using Nielsen's myEVNTS system, identifying trends in media consumption that are relevant to the network, and helping to design, field, and interpret primary research studies (e.g. surveys, dial tests, focus groups). Desired qualifications include knowledge of and interest in television and Excel/Power Point skills. Interns should be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in media, math/statistics, business or a related field.
