STOCKS/ECONOMY

-Stock futures are a bit higher after Thursday's big selloff. The continuing terror situation in Barcelona and worries about business defections from the White House are weighing on investors. Consumer sentiment data comes out at 10am Eastern Time.

-Gold is at the highest level it's seen since November of 2016. The yield on the 10-year treasury bond is down to 2.19 percent.

BARCELONA ATTACK

-Spanish police are still looking for the driver of the van that plowed into a crowd in Barcelona and killed 13 people and wounded 50 others. But five suspected terrorists were killed in a shoot out with police later in the day. ISIS is claiming responsibility.
