STOCKS/ECONOMY

-Stock futures are a bit higher after Tuesday's broad losses. We get a slew of economic data today including the Fed Beige Book at 2 p.m. ET.

-New mortgage applications rose 3.3 percent last week. Gold is flat at $1,343 an ounce. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note is up a bit now, but still just 2.07 percent.
