Program Planning Internship

A CNBC Program Planning internship will explore both the linear and multi-platform scheduling strategies for our Primetime programming, giving interns a behind the scenes look at the decisions that go into creating the CNBC Prime schedule. Intern responsibilities include participating in scheduling meetings with the goal of creating a schedule that achieves ratings goals, tracking usage of CNBC acquired series including Shark Tank and Undercover Boss, providing feedback on documentaries and series for potential acquisition, organizing content assets and identifying missing elements to ensure programming launches on VOD, TV-Everywhere and Hulu according to schedule and maintaining critical episodic information for CNBC original and acquired content into the scheduling program, Compass. Desired qualifications include knowledge of and interest in the television industry and pop culture landscape as well as Microsoft Office skills.
