What companies and trade groups are saying about Trump's steel and aluminum tariffs

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that tariffs on steel and aluminum imports will be coming next week. Below is a list of the companies and trade groups with their responses to the tariffs.

General Motors' response to the tariffs was particularly strong. In a statement, it said: "The bottom line is we support trade policies that enable U.S. manufacturers to win and grow jobs in the U.S, and at the same time succeed in global markets."
