Luke Dow

Luke Dow completed his undergraduate and graduate work in Melbourne, Australia, before joining the laboratory of Scott Lowe in New York where he developed new approaches to interrogate gene function, specifically, the in vivo application of inducible shRNA and CRISPR-based genome editing tools.

His lab at Weill Cornell Medicine is focused on understanding the biology of colorectal cancer, where they use genetic model systems as pre-clinical tools to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities in gastrointestinal cancers. As part of this effort, his lab develops new genetic technologies, including CRISPR, to more precisely dissect the function of cancer-related genes.
