Our highly competitive program identifies outstanding aspiring journalists who bring diverse backgrounds to news production and news coverage. The program represents CNBC's strong commitment to developing a diverse editorial staff within CNBC. The News Associates program is designed to attract candidates of racial, ethnic, economic and geographical diversity, as well as candidates with disabilities.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Pitching both breaking news and enterprise content for CNBC.com and/or Make It;
- Developing sources and building your network to land the next big scoop in business news;
- Conceptualizing and producing videos, including scripting, shooting, and editing original content;
- Using all major social platforms to create and publish shareable multimedia stories
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Eligibility Requirements

- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States through September 2026.
- Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice.
- Must be willing to sign an 18 month employment contract committing to remain with the company for 18 months.
