10 states where you get the least home for your money

It might be hard to find a large home in these states if you're on a budget.

Personal finance website GOBankingRates used real estate website Zillow's home price index to determine just how far $300,000 can go when shopping for a home.

Here are the states where that amount of money will stretch the least.

  • 10. New York
