CNBC's Managing Asia arrives in Kuala Lumpur

SINGAPORE | MALAYSIA, 19 March 2019 – CNBC, the world's number one business and financial news network, today announced it will bring its flagship feature show, Managing Asia, hosted by award-winning anchor Christine Tan, to Sunway City Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, March 21st 2019 for a special event focusing on sustainability.

Managing Asia: Sustainable Entrepreneurship will include a discussion on social and environmental sustainability for businesses with Sunny George Verghese, Chairman of World Business Council for Sustainable Development & Co-founder and Group CEO of Olam International, Dr Delman Lee, President & Chief Technology Officer of TAL Group and Member of the Founding Circle, Sustainable Apparel Coalition and Nanette-Medved-Po, Founder of Generation Hope & Friends of Hope.

Christine Tan will also be speaking to Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah AO, Founder and Chairman at Sunway Group, one of Malaysia's largest conglomerates. He will be sharing Sunway's efforts in advancing the sustainable development agenda in the region.

The invite-only event, held in partnership with Sunway Group, will be held at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. Malaysian government officials including Minister of Finance YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change YB Yeo Bee Yin, Minister of International Trade and Industry YB Datuk Ignatius Darell Leiking and Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources YB Dr Xavier Jayakumar are also set to attend.
