Jay Clayton is the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He spoke Thursday with Andrew Ross Sorkin at the Delivering Alpha conference, presented by CNBC and Institutional Investor. In a recent interview, Clayton said he's like to see an easier path for companies to go public, and for retail investors to have greater access to private capital markets.
