Here are the biggest calls on Wall Street on Friday: Jefferies upgraded Simon Property to buy from hold Jefferies said in its upgrade of the real estate investment trust that it saw "long-term opportunities" for Simon. "Occupancy & renewal spreads remain pressured near term, but retailer investments, pent-up consumer demand, and lower bad debt are positive catalysts, in addition to external growth opportunities." Raymond James upgraded Comcast to outperform from market perform Raymond James said in its upgrade of the cable and entertainment company that the stock "possesses a notable COVID-recovery component." "We believe there is future NBCU upside from HSD strength, Peacock sub growth, improved theatrical revenue, and phased theme park reopenings. … The COVID-defensive cable group has lagged in recent months, although we believe Comcast possesses a notable COVID-recovery component with its stores, parks, and theatrical business." Loop initiated Coinbase as buy Loop said in its initiation of the crypto exchange that it sees an "attractive long-term opportunity." "It will be important to watch the cadence of product development, customer acquisition trends and asset growth… all of which will benefit to the extent Bitcoin remains at healthy levels for the near term. Overall, we believe that Coinbase has one of the most attractive long-term opportunity sets in all our coverage, helping form our Buy rating." UBS reiterated its buy rating on Netflix UBS reiterated its buy rating on shares of the streaming giant and said shares may be volatile in the near term but that the stock was a "long-term winner." "While the stock may remain volatile in the near-to-medium term, we continue to view NFLX as the long-term winner within streaming media and remain constructive on the fundamentals – compounding revenue growth, expanding EBIT margins and ramping [free cash flow] in the coming years." Bank of America reiterated its buy rating on Roku Bank of America reiterated its buy rating on shares of the streaming company and said it sees Roku gaining market share and continuing to expand. "[Reiterate] Buy on continued shift of Ad dollars to over the top, shift of Ad spending to programmatic buying, international expansion opportunity, increased original content, competitive advantage with Roku TV OS, and superior brand recognition." Morgan Stanley downgraded Goodyear to equal weight from overweight Morgan Stanley downgraded Goodyear mainly on valuation. "We remain positive on tire industry pricing, but Q1 may not be an incremental proof point for Goodyear here." RBC named Teladoc a favorite idea RBC named the telehealth company as a favorite long-term pick and said it was an "innovator." "Our view is that TDOC : has enough of a moat to hold its own in that core market. …and is well ahead of peers and quickly making inroads into the vast chronic condition management market." UBS raised its price target on McDonald's to $255 from $240 UBS raised its price target on the stock and reiterated its buy rating and said it sees "continued U.S. momentum." "We continue to like MCD 's 2021 US comp catalyst path, but also believe the brand is positioned for a multiyear period of sales outperformance. Structural improvements to marketing, digital, an updated store base, drive-thru efficiencies, and menu upgrades should provide ongoing share gain opportunities." Wells Fargo initiated Toll Brothers, D.R. Horton and KB Home as overweight Wells Fargo initiated several homebuilder stocks and said it sees a "huge upside bias." "At this time, we opine that issues like affordability, inflation, and interest rate impacts are just noise — it's too early in the cycle to be discussing that and many factors on the consumer demand side of the equation are much stronger. " Piper Sandler upgraded Sunrun to overweight from neutral Piper upgraded the solar company after the "recent weakness" in shares of Sunrun. "Since the middle of February, solar stocks have come under significant duress due to a combination of rising interest rates, regulatory uncertainty associated with net energy metering in CA, a lack of imminent catalysts, and a remarkable 2020 run." Oppenheimer named Microsoft a top pick Oppenheimer named the tech giant a top pick ahead of earnings and said it expects the company to beat estimates. "Our biggest beneficiaries are companies that will likely beat estimates and give investors exposure to growth at reasonable valuations (APPS, MSFT, RXT, DOCN, TMUS and AMT)." Wolfe upgraded Cisco to outperform from peer perform Wolfe said in its upgrade of the stock that it sees a tremendous opportunity for "rising growth and multiple expansion." " Cisco is emerging from a prolonged downturn dating back to 2019. However, the resurgence of IT spending, increasing software sales mix, and improving hyperscale play has put the company into the best position it has arguably had in some years. This includes further benefits from a cyclical spending recovery and durable growth beyond." Stephens named Humana a best idea Stephens named the healthcare company as a best idea and said it sees a "catch-up" trading opportunity for the stock. "First, HUM has leading platforms in value-based primary care and home health and hospice that are significantly under-valued relative to publicly-traded market comps, based on our SOTP analysis." UBS reiterated its buy rating on Disney UBS reiterated its buy rating on shares of Disney ahead of the company's earnings report and said it was "setting the stage for a rebound." "We expect results to highlight steady direct to consumer momentum ahead of a ramping content slate while recovery at the parks begins to take shape." Mizuho named CyberArk as a favorite idea Mizuho named the security company a favorite idea ahead of earnings and said it was expecting an "upside quarter." "Our checks on CYBR were strong, with partners citing a continued uptick in inbound inquiries, and with the clear majority of them exceeding their plan. As a result, we're expecting an upside quarter, and we reiterate that CYBR's now active transition to a recurring revenue model will yield superior financials and visibility over time." Argus upgraded United to buy from hold Argus said in its upgrade of the airline that it expected earnings to "benefit" from stable fuel costs among other things. "We have a favorable view of UAL 's plans to limit capacity, reduce structural costs by $2 billion, and restore margins to 2019 levels. We also expect earnings to benefit from stable fuel costs and a stronger than previously projected recovery in flight demand as the impact of the pandemic diminishes."
