Wedbush says Tesla faces a 'moment of truth' in China with recall

Wedbush is maintaining its bullish view on Tesla, despite negative headlines regarding an autopilot software recall in China.

Chinese regulators on Saturday said Tesla would need to fix software on nearly 300,000 cars in the country. They said the cars' assisted-driving function can accidentally be activated by drivers, prompting sudden acceleration.
