Investing Club: What Cramer is watching Tuesday — Russia bears down on Kyiv, Target is best in show, Chevron lifts guidance

What I am looking at March 1, 2022 Russian column is coming to take Ukraine capital Kyiv. Causing flight to quality here as if we are a member of the European Union. It does not matter to the traders that we are not the EU. It takes a very long time before these morons figure out that we are not and for now we cant fight the tape. Where are the generals? Do they want a war of occupation a la Chechnya? Population of Chechnya is small compared to Ukraine. However, the Russians did raze their capital city of Grozny and did so without any compunction ... mass killings of civilians. Did Russian leader Vladimir Putin misjudge the Ukrainians when he said he'll "denazify" the country? President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is Jewish and lost family in the Holocaust. Perhaps he believed that the Ukrainians had less freedom to speak out? In truth of course they have more ability to speak out Can the Russians still drill without Western help? Are the Russians still sending oil here? Not last month apparently. Baird lowers price target on Alibaba (BABA) to $160 from $180. Barclays to $170 from $247. Chevron (CVX) raises buyback guidance range to $5 to $10 billion per year, up from range of $3 to $5 billion. Increasing return on capital to 12%. Operating cash flow to grow to 10% per year. Target (TGT) reports excellent numbers . Spectacular margins despite supply chain challenge. Owned brands were extraordinary ... Comparable sales viewed as disappointing: 8.9% vs. 10.5% gain expected. Must listen to conference call before you make a judgment, but to me this is best in show. Full-year revenue shot over $100 billion, paying employees more than others. China factory growth picks up as demand improves; new orders in February grew for the first time since August, including service sector. Lucid (LCID) has real production issues. Delivered only 125 cars in the fourth quarter. Trying to make as many cars but lots of issues. Big plant is on track, Saudi plant is on track ... Second half will not have limitations ... and don't forget former Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris on company's board ... 2022 production range is 12,000 to 14,000 cars. Piper Sandler and Wells Fargo lower price targets for Zoom (ZM), but the company's fourth quarter was actually decent with more enterprise than expected ... revenue guidance for Q1 and FY23 is 12%, 11% year-over-year growth. But their targets were too high given the stock's fall. Sells at 29 times earnings, should sell at about 20 ... Citi and Baird also cut targets. Albertsons (ACI) with a strategic review? I thought everything was good there? CEO Vivek Sankaran told us so not that long ago ... Benchmark starts Snap (SNAP) coverage with a buy, but holds for Meta (FB) and Twitter (TWTR). MongoDB (MDB) initiated with a buy ratings at RBC Capital ... Atlas cloud product is taking biz from Oracle (ORCL). Wells Fargo cuts price target on Rivian (RIVN) to $70 from $110 after weak quarter yesterday ... Ford (F) has 100 million shares. What will it do with its 12%? Logitech (LOGI) upgraded to buy from hold at Wedbush … terrific little story ... Nvidia (NVDA) cyberattack got some info but was stopped before anything too serious. Hackers pretended to be employee, identity theft. HP (HPE) unlike Dell, very good without supply issues ... Workday (WDAY) real acceleration in orders. Best in five years.
