Jim Cramer shares his thoughts on Walgreens, Home Depot, RH, Kimberly-Clark and Vornado

Jim Cramer's daily rapid fire looks at stocks in the news outside the CNBC Investing Club portfolio. Walgreens Boots Alliance : The company delivered a big earnings beat, but lowered the top end of its adjusted earnings-per-share forecast while also booking a write-down on VillageMD. "This is a bull-bear debate," Jim Cramer said. "They're cleaning up the stuff that wasn't making money, but there's a lot of questions to be answered because even when I go through the conference call, it's not really clear what their game plan is." Shares of Walgreens rose more than 1% Thursday. Home Depot : The home-improvement retailer announced a $18.25 billion acquisition for SRS Distribution, a roofing and building supply distributor. Home Depot shares dropped about 1.5%. "They need to be in this" business, Cramer said, noting that Builders FirstSource has been one of the best stocks in the S & P 500 lately. "This is blunting against that. They had a blind spot. They need this filled," Cramer said. RH : Shares surged more than 15% after the luxury furniture company issued better-than-expected revenue guidance for 2024. "The cadence was fabulous," Cramer said, explaining that after a weaker January, RH's business started to improve in the following months. "You've got a very big short squeeze going on here," he added. Kimberly-Clark : The consumer products maker announced a business reorganization that includes layoffs. Shares of the Kleenex and Huggies parent rose nearly 2% Thursday. "They fired a lot of people. They've got a very good yield," Cramer said, while also complimenting its local management strategy. Cramer's CNBC Investing Club owns consumer-products giant Procter & Gamble . Vornado Realty Trust : Morgan Stanley upgraded the office-focused real estate investment trust to a hold-equivalent rating. Shares of Vornado jumped 4% Thursday. "This whole story about commercial real estate being in trouble, other than in San Jose, we're seeing improvement everywhere," Cramer said. "Let's drop the commercial real estate problem for the banks. It's maybe the insurers." Within banks, the CNBC Investing Club owns shares of Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley .
