NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aegis Sciences Corporation, one of the nation’s leading forensic and healthcare toxicology laboratories, has named Frank Moser as the company’s president, according to Dr. David L. Black, chairman and CEO.

Moser, who previously served as Aegis’ vice president of business development, will lead strategic growth initiatives and direct day-to-day operations at the company’s locations in 37 states across the nation.

Moser joined Aegis in 1999 as director of sales and marketing. He joined the company’s Board of Directors in 2007 and was promoted to vice president of business development in 2008.
Aegis, which was founded by Dr. Black in 1986 as a sports anti-doping laboratory, has experienced consistent, exponential growth over the last decade. Founded with a focus on testing athletes for the use of performance enhancing drugs, Aegis now provides drug and chemical testing services for workplace, post-mortem, crime scene, state and federal programs, food/supplements and pain management. The company has grown from five employees in 1990 to more than 750 employees today. Prior to joining Aegis, Moser was the regional manager for Parfums de Coeur in Nashville, Tenn., where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of a fragrance line to retailers including Wal-Mart. He also has been a member of Nashville Health Care Council’s Leadership Health Care and served on the board of the Sales & Marketing Executives Association in Nashville.
Moser earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. He lives in Hendersonville, Tenn., with his wife Jan and has two children.
