CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- This fall, Great American Financial Resources®, Inc., (GAFRI) will help teachers upgrade their classrooms with the fifth annual Great American Classroom Makeover. Teachers can win thousands of dollars to buy needed supplies for their classrooms through a simple online submission process.
“Studies show that teachers across the United States are spending their own money to improve their classrooms,” says Mat Dutkiewicz, Executive Vice President. “The Great American Classroom Makeover is designed to help alleviate some of that burden for educators. We believe that teachers deserve the best, and we are pleased to help them and their students with this program.”
The winning classroom will receive $5,000 plus a matching $5,000 prize for the school. Second place is $2,500 for the classroom, $2,500 for the school; third place is $1,000 for the classroom, $1,000 for the school.
To enter, teachers simply need to write a few sentences about why their room deserves a makeover and include a current classroom photo. Entries will be accepted online at www.TeachersDeserveTheBest.com through Dec. 28, 2012. Finalists will be notified in January 2013, and the public will vote in February 2013 to decide who is most deserving of the top three prizes.
