(NYSE: PNR) today announced that its board authorized a share repurchase program of $800 million, which will expire on December 31, 2015. The $800 million authorization is in addition to the $400 million authorization announced on September 28, 2012, and the aggregate $1.2 billion share repurchase authorization is consistent with the March, 2012 merger announcement.
