Erste Group sees global equities as having a positive outlook for the fourth quarter of 2012.
"Global shares benefit in particular from the measures announced by the ECB and the Fed," Erste Group say in their quarterly strategy note, in reference to the possibility of outright bond purchases announced by Mario Draghi and quantitative easing announced by Ben Bernanke, both in September.
"The dividend yield of 3 percent is attractive as compared to government bonds with good ratings," the note says.
"These are the positive aspects supporting the equity market."
