Huawei Expands Services Capabilities with Essintial Enterprise Solutions

NEW YORK, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Interop -- Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced it has expanded its services capabilities under a new agreement with Essintial Enterprise Solutions, a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services for the enterprise service supply chain.

Under the agreement, Essintial will provide nationwide support of Huawei's enterprise hardware. This agreement expands Huawei's Hi-Care service portfolio and its capabilities to support customer's demanding requirements for faster hardware replacement and Onsite Field Engineering support.

"Essintial is very pleased to provide parts, logistics, field engineers and technical support services for Huawei's U.S. enterprise customers," said Tom York, Essintial Enterprise Solutions CEO and former IBM executive. "The opportunity to participate in Huawei's expansion into the U.S. market is very exciting for Essintial."

"The relationship with Essintial allows Huawei to offer six different service levels for hardware replacement with the option of an onsite Field Engineer," said David Zhang, Vice President of Enterprise Delivery and Service Department, Huawei Enterprise USA. "This agreement allows Huawei to add more than 1,000 field engineers and access to 240 Forward Storage Locations (FSL), enabling 4-hour parts replacement and onsite field engineering support nationwide."

Huawei's Hi-Care portfolio was specifically created for the customer who demands leading-edge technology support by the vendor, prefers minimal investment in warehousing and inventory delivery infrastructure, requires flexible hardware replacement options and option of onsite field engineering service. The company's service portfolio is based on best practices from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, which ensures the stability and health of Information and Communications Technology deployments and operations. Within the U.S., Huawei has established local customer service centers in Santa Clara, Calif., and Plano, Texas.
