West Coast Franchise Expo Coming To Anaheim Oct. 12-14

ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Franchise brands are targeting the West for expansion—creating countless career opportunities on a national level. The West Coast Franchise Expo (WCFE), hosted by Paramus, N.J.-based MFV Expositions and sponsored by the International Franchise Association, is the largest franchise event on the West Coast and will take place Oct. 12-14 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The WCFE is the prime place to explore viable business investments and speak with top level executives about turning your career around.

"Attendees can visit a range of exhibitors that suit their career backgrounds, interests and lifestyles," said Tom Portesy, president of MFV Expositions. "Not to mention, guests of the show can speak with top executives at big brands and take advantage of free informational seminars, as well as participate in great giveaways."

Nearly 200 franchise concepts will be showcased at the expo, with investment levels ranging from $5,000 to $5 million. Industries as diverse as accounting and tax services, beauty products, senior services, retail, fitness, and all types of restaurants and food services will be showcased. Featured companies include Meineke Car Care Centers, Baskin-Robbins, Cinnabon, CruiseOne, Fatburger, Jerry's Wood-Fired Dogs, and Assisting Hands Home Care.

The WCFE will also host a number of informational sessions and seminars for interested attendees. For military veterans, who have a particularly strong track record of success in franchising, the Veterans' Transition Franchise Initiative (VetFran) will host a free panel on Friday, Oct. 12, the first day of the WCFE, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Business pros and military veterans will offer advice, field questions, and discuss how veterans can benefit from a career in franchising.

Other informational sessions – over 30 in total – will include seminars on brand development, successful business practices, financing a small business, and much more. Most events are free, but some require an additional fee or pre-registration.
