PrePlay Debuts MLB PrePlay Predictive Mobile Game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad; Predictive Game Studio’s Third Title Tops 1 Million Baseball Predictions in First Month

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PrePlay, Inc. (http://preplaysports.com/), a New York-based predictive game studio, has announced MLB PrePlay for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad debuted with more than one million baseball predictions in its first month of availability. The mobile game’s Postseason update, MLB PrePlay Presented by Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH), is available for download on the App Store and will allow fans to predict plays for every Postseason game from the new Wild Card games through the final out of the 108th World Series.

This new mobile game allows fans to predict every at bat of live baseball games, as well as make pre-game and between-inning predictions for game stats and player performances. Fans can challenge friends and others to compete, and see how their prediction skills stack up on game-by-game, week-by-week, and season-long leaderboards within the app. The app also comes equipped with Facebook login, Twitter integration, in-game chat rooms, and a trophy case.

MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), among the largest New York-born, New York-based high tech companies, partnered with PrePlay on the predictive game to include the use of official MLB and Club marks and access to its Gameday API – the pitch-by-pitch statistical data tracking also found in MLBAM’s top grossing MLB.com At Bat 12 app and its popular fantasy app, Beat the Streak.
