Industry Veteran Brings More Than 25 Years' Executive and Multinational Experience to New Position

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aptean today announced the appointment of Frank Hung as Managing Director, Asia Pacific (APAC), and appointment to the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Hung, who has been a leader in Aptean's Asia Pacific offices since 2007, has more than 25 years' experience in executive positions around the world. In his new role, Hung will support Aptean's continued commitment to and investment in Asia Pacific, overseeing all of the company's business operations there, inclusive of sales, marketing, professional services, product and software development, and customer support. Aptean also will draw upon Hung's extensive industry and market experience to drive additional growth and business development in the region.

Over the course of his career, Hung has held executive-level positions at technology companies throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Malaysia, India and Canada. In every position, Hung's success has been characterized in part by the ability to structure and align business operations and people with successful go-to-market strategies, as well as creating and developing new revenue opportunities across markets and product offerings. Prior to Aptean, Hung served as managing director and COO, Asia Pacific, at Maximizer Software. There, he oversaw all CRM operations for the company in the region. Before his tenure at Maximizer, Hung served as COO at Powerlan Limited, where he was instrumental in the initial merger of CSSL Group and Powerlan. He also led the integration of the two companies' infrastructure, operations, and combined services and solutions. Hung's resume also details senior-level stints at Xerox, CSSL and System Pro.

“We are extremely pleased to congratulate Frank on his appointment to the Aptean Executive Leadership Team,” said Monte Ford, president of Aptean. “Frank's stellar reputation and extensive experience in driving the success of technology in multinational companies is a huge benefit to Aptean as we continue to drive growth and expansion.”

“I am thrilled with the opportunity to assume a senior executive role and to continue to work with a leader in the enterprise application software market,” said Hung. “Aptean is very well positioned for substantial growth with highly talented employees, competitive technology, and a strong customer base in the Asia Pacific region.
