Maschka, Riedy & Ries Law Firm Issues Media Statement on Behalf of Todd Hoffner

MANKATO, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- After receiving confirmation from law enforcement that further investigation of seized computers and electronic devices contained no child pornography, on Thursday, September 27, 2012, Hoffner’s attorneys made a second formal request to Blue Earth County Attorney, Ross Arneson, asking that all charges be dismissed. The Blue Earth County Attorney indicated he would review the matter and respond to the request to dismiss.

On September 28, 2012, the Hoffners received a letter from Blue Earth County Human Services (http://mediarepository.net/Letters_of_Support.pdf) stating the findings of their investigation involving the Hoffner children, which determined no maltreatment occurred and that child protective services were not necessary.

Coach Hoffner continues to cooperate with Minnesota State University - Mankato officials and is hopeful this matter will soon be fully resolved, and he can continue his college coaching career.

In the interim, Coach Hoffner is filling his available time volunteering with youth football and refereeing.
