Uganda cbank says in market to sell forex

KAMPALA, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Uganda's central bank said on Wednesday it was in the market to sell an unspecified amount of foreign currency, a notice on Thomson Reuters said.

At 0927 GMT, the shilling traded at 2,580/2,590 to the dollar. The Ugandan had slipped a touch against the dollar on Wednesday as greenback demand from the energy sector and commercial banks put it under pressure, traders said.
