Four larger-than-life vehicles come together for the first time at L.L.Bean’s Discovery Park in Freeport, ME for a day of outdoor fun

As the newest art car on the road, the L.L.Bean Bootmobile, created in honor of the company’s 100th anniversary, has invited other larger-than-life vehicles to come together for the first ever Art Car Campout. On Saturday, October 13, the L.L.Bean Bootmobile, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the Just Born PEEPSTER Car and the Lindt Chocolate Gold Bunny Car will gather at L.L.Bean’s Discovery Park in Freeport, ME for a day of outdoor family fun.

As the newest art car on the road, the L.L.Bean Bootmobile, created in honor of the company's 100th anniversary, has invited the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the Just Born PEEPSTER Car and the Lindt Chocolate Gold Bunny Car to come together for the first ever "Art Car Campout" in Freeport, ME on Sat., October 13.   • A free cookout featuring traditional camping fare including hot dogs

  • Camping demos and other outdoor instruction with L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools experts
  • Photo opportunities with the Art Cars
  • Free giveaways

Participation in the Art Car Campout can help to support our national parks! In its 100th anniversary year, L.L.Bean is on a on a year-long mission to re-ignite America’s love of the outdoors and has committed up to $1 million to the National Park Foundation. For every person to share an outdoor moment as part of the Million Moment Mission, L.L.Bean will contribute $1 to help get young people outdoors. With more than 975,000 moments shared to date, L.L.Bean has nearly reached its $1 million goal. Each person to attend the Art Car Campout will generate another dollar from L.L.Bean toward the cause.
