The Dow Jones Industrial Average has closed higher for the last 20-consecutive Tuesdays, the longest streak in history. The last time the blue-chip index even got this far was in 1927 when the Dow closed up 15 consecutive Tuesdays between June 1927 and September 1927.
So far this year, Tuesday has also been the best day of the week for Dow, with an average gain of roughly 0.50 percent.
