That's the story broken today by British newspaper, The Guardian.
According to the story, the government has been getting daily updates on millions of Verizon customers since the end of April. The program is scheduled to end on July 19. While there's no evidence the feds are actually listening in on phone calls, it appears they are collecting data on what numbers are being called.
If the government can take phone carriers' numbers and analyze them, why not you? Specifically, phone companies' financial numbers and stock charts.
