Today on CNBC.com--Holiday Central

Good morning. We'll start with our quote of the day from Henry Ford--"A business absolutely devoted to service will have only one worry about profits. They will be embarrasingly large."

Service is on the mind of most retailers today. Thanksgiving is over--Black Friday has come and gone--but the shopping season is in full swing. It's "Cyber Monday"--one of the busiest days of the year for online shopping.

So far--the holiday season is off to a great start--reports say shoppers spent 19 percent more this year than last year on Thanksgiving weekend. Early store openings and discounts are drawing in consumers.

Okay--here's what's ahead for you on CNBC and CNBC.com: It's Holiday Central as we look at who will be the winners this holiday season--and how retailers-markets and the economy will be affected. We've got the results of some exclusive CNBC holiday shopping polls. We'll also see just what private equity has on its shopping list this holiday season.
