Aviva Says Richard Harvey to Step Down as Chief Executive in July

Aviva, Britain's largest insurer, said Wednesday Richard Harvey will step down as chief executive in July.

Andrew Moss, Aviva's group finance director, will succeed Harvey following his retirement on July 11, the company said.

Harvey, 56, led the demutualization of Norwich Union in 1997, and three years later merged the company with CGU to create Aviva.
