Satellite television operator Echostar Communications said today it has reached a long-term agreement with Time Warner to carry HBO and Cinemax channels on its Dish network.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a company statement, Echostar said it has dismissed a complaint filed with the Federal Communications Commission against HBO, which is part of Time Warner's Home Box Office division. Additionally, HBO has dismissed its legal proceedings against Echostar filed in U.S. district court of southern New York.
