No.1 - Out Of Apple's Shadow

Thursday, a day before the iPhone hits shelves, Apple (AAPL) competitors Research In Motion (RIMM)and Palm (PALM) release earnings. Can these companies come out from the shadow of the iPhone phenomenon?

CNBC Reporter Mary Thompson joins the guys for this conversation.

Thompson says the hype will get people into malls and that will drive sales across the board. She also tells the panel not to expect either company to try and steal thunder from Apple on Friday.

Eric Bolling thinks the iPhone will get consumers used to paying more and that will benefit all smart phone makers. He says if nothing else, the company that will really benefit from the iPhone is AT&T (T) which is the phone’s wireless carrier.

Thompson reminds Eric that Apple gets a piece of that revenue.

Guy Adami says if RIMM earnings disappoint and shares sell-off, he sees a buying opportunity.

The entire panel says stay away from PALM.
