Russia's gas export monopoly Gazprom said on Thursday its net profit in the third quarter fell by 25 percent from the previous quarter to 55.47 billion roubles ($2.24 billion).
Gazprom said in a regulatory statement its net profit under the Russian Accounting Standards stood at 73.72 billion roubles in the second quarter.
