Lightning Round: Genentech, Visa, Sony and More

Genentech : Take profits on DNA, Cramer said. Roche made its bid, and now the trade has passed.

Visa : “I don’t want anything linked at all to retail,” Cramer said. Visa’s a don’t buy. Mastercard is a sell, sell, sell.

Sony : Investors don’t want to own a consumer-electronics stock like Sony right now, Cramer said.

Jacobs Engineering : Massive hedge-fund selling in the infrastructure group mean JEC cannot be owned right now. If you want to buy this stock, Cramer said, and he’s not endorsing JEC, at least wait until that selling is done.

Blackstone : “The last thing I want to own right here is a private equity firm.” Fortress Invetment Group , Cramer said, is also a sell.

AeroVironment : Cramer’s bullish on the defense play, because no matter who’s elected president, the unmanned-aircraft bill should see more orders – especially so if Obama wins in November.

Harley Davidson : This is another discretionary –spending stock. Don’t buy, Cramer said.
