Lightning Round: Goldman Sachs, Prudential, Marathon Oil and More

CVR Energy : Cramer likes CVI as a speculation stock, but said that Marathon Oil is a better play on oil refining. MRO also offers a 3.4% dividend yield.

Avon Products : AVP has been a “total and utter dog,” Cramer said. Stay away from Avon.

Nordic American Tanker : Cramer likes NAT at the present level of $29, though he admitted that falling oil prices and recent news about declining tanker rates are worth consideration.

Prudential : Cramer can’t behind this stock right now. Go with Travelers instead.

Limited : Cramer won’t recommend this retailer. Don’t buy, LTD.

Popular : “I don’t want to touch this stock,” Cramer said. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the only banking-related stocks he likes right now.

International Flavors & Fragrances : “Just OK,” Cramer said of IFF. The stock’s “kind of boring.” There aren’t any good reasons for owning this company.

Cramer's charitable trust owns Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
