Experts Edward Yardeni, president of Yardeni Research and Paul Alan Davis, senior portfolio manager of Charles Schwab, expressed their optimism toward the stock market and they advised investors to start buying stocks.
“Look how well we did despite the flu scare,” Yardeni told CNBC. “I think the markets are just excited that a lot of the economic indicators are really turning out to be better than expected.”
“Think about a recovery in the next 3, 6 and 9 months,” said Davis. “A lot of our long-term shareholders are investing in their pension plans. We would encourage them to continue investing in stocks.”
