LG Display said its notebook PC panel sales jumped 20% in June from the year before, suggesting strong results when it reports its earnings next week.
In a statement, LG said notebook panel sales reached 4.06 million units last month as its newly added production line helped meet increasing demand.
The monthly number increased to 4.5 million units after including panels used in smaller "netbook" PC models.
LG Display shares rose 0.3% on the news.
