The Internet is buzzing with speculation that Apple could announce a huge deal as soon as Friday.
According to published reports, Apple is about ready to ink an agreement to sell the iPhone -- in China. Such a deal could mark a huge step for Apple, giving it access to the world's largest mobile market with nearly 700 million subscribers.
And the carrier that’s landed the blockbuster deal is said to be China Unicom, the nation’s second largest carrier. (In other words, not China Mobile)
The iPhone will be priced at 3,000 yuan ($440 dollars) with a requirement that customers also buy 3,000 yuan worth of prepaid calls, says MobileMedia.com
The deal sounds like a game changer, but does it come with a trade?
I think the play is China Unicom, counsels Jon Najarian as well as the peripherals that play into it which is Broadcom and Marvell .
I’m not sure about those plays, counters brother Pete Najarian. We all thought AT&T was a buy on the launch of the iPhone here in the US and what we learned is that the better play was long Apple.
