Dow closes at 52-week high, S&P 500 just behind.
Techs strong going into the close on Barclays upgrade on hardware, CSFB upgraded Lam Research, and perhaps most importantly Deutsche Bank raises 2009 semi industry outlook; they also expect third quarter results near the high end of guidance because bookings have been solid in the quarter.
Big week for commodity stocks, with many up double digits.
